Munch on fruits.
The holidays are known for sugary treats, and if you’ve fallen into the habit of snacking on cakes or sweet pastries, it may not be wise to stop cold turkey.
You don’t want to trigger sugar cravings because you’ve suddenly deprived yourself of it.
Try slowly replacing those sugary carbs with fruits for a healthier alternative to sweets. There are so many to choose from!
Save an episode for tomorrow.
If you’ve been binging on Netflix shows over the holidays, it’s hard to stop even if you’re already tired.
So instead of swearing off the small screen entirely, start with stopping one episode short of what you usually consume, and gradually work your way up.
The best part of this is that you can use the hour you saved to get more sleep!
Make time to care for yourself.
There are no more celebrations to chase or parties to plan, so don’t put off your health appointments any longer.
Take that much-needed dental appointment or set an appointment with your doctor for that yearly check-up.
