Why Playing Video Games is Good For You (and Me!) [Infographic]

Yes, I have to admit that I still play video games (I am not that old, mind you). I am especially fond of playing first person shooters (Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Half-life and the likes) and I am also into some RPGs (although I’m not a big fan of MMORPG).

But with the recent news about the death of a teenager from Taiwan because of playing for 40 hours straight, it seems that video games (and gamers too!) have been taking some bad reputation.

Thanks to this infographic from Frugal Dad, we can be enlightened that gaming actually has benefits. Let’s take a look at what video games and gaming can actually do to help us in education, social interaction, therapy, our brain and also our body:
